Research Line 11: Collaborative research and knowledge sharing

Sharing knowledge and resources and collaborating in R&D can broaden the reachable population, increase the size of the markets and lower the prices of Assistive Technology. In developed countries Universal Accessibility is defined with a narrow focus. Availability of resources, infrastructures and education means is taken for granted. Nevertheless, disfavoured populations both in developed and developing countries are excluded from this focus because they do not have access to the basic requirements.
